In this class, you’ll learn the step-by-step process of creating beautiful borders and frames with rich visual impact like: Autumn leaves, ferns, feathers, rose vine, buttons, bubbles, pierced ribbon, ocean wave, woven, braided, geometric…and so much more!

In this 2-day class, you’ll be guided through the step-by-step process of creating this charming and casual script alphabet style that gives a fresh, modern twist to the traditional alphabet.

First, you’ll learn a series of simple strokes that will help you familiarize yourself with these whimsical letterforms; then you’ll proceed to lower case letters, upper case capitals and ligatures. You’ll learn how to see letters in a very different way, while playing with form and creating your own style! What could be more fun?

Never tried calligraphy before? This class is the perfect place to start! You’ll learn from a seasoned calligrapher and teacher, who knows what it’s like to be an eternal student!
